NON-MEDICAL / NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DISCLAIMER
Norient Community Services provides non-medical advocacy, coordination, and support services only. Norient is not a healthcare provider, home health agency, insurance company, financial institution, legal service provider, tax advisor, or fiduciary. Norient does not provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, financial planning, tax guidance, or insurance products. Members are encouraged to consult licensed professionals for medical, legal, financial, or tax matters as appropriate.

SERVICE BANK DEFINITION
The Norient Service Bank is a service-only credit system designed to track a member’s accumulated access to Norient services. The Service Bank is not a bank account, savings account, investment, escrow, or trust. Service Bank balances are not cash, do not earn interest, and have no monetary value outside of Norient services. Service Bank credits may only be applied toward eligible Norient-provided services and are subject to vesting periods, eligibility requirements, geographic availability, and available balance.

VESTING PERIOD & ACCESS RULES
All Norient plans are subject to a two-year vesting period. During the vesting period, members may contribute to their Service Bank but may not request services unless otherwise specified in writing. After the vesting period, members may request services in accordance with their plan tier, age group, and Service Bank balance. Service frequency, scope, and availability may increase with age and tenure, subject to program guidelines in effect at the time of the request.

GUARANTEED ACCESS VS. CONDITIONAL SERVICES
Participation in Norient guarantees access to defined non-medical advocacy and coordination services as outlined in the applicable membership agreement. Certain services may be conditional and subject to eligibility requirements, geographic availability, age, timing, third-party availability, and sufficient Service Bank balance. While Norient commits to providing access to its services, the scope, timing, and manner of delivery may vary based on these factors.

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY
Members retain full responsibility for their healthcare, housing, financial, legal, and personal decisions. Norient may assist with coordination, advocacy, accompaniment, documentation support, and communication, but does not make decisions on a member’s behalf unless expressly authorized in writing. Norient does not assume responsibility for outcomes related to third-party providers, facilities, professionals, or family decisions.

EMERGENCY SERVICES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Norient is not an emergency response service. In the event of an emergency, members or their representatives should contact local emergency services immediately. Norient is not liable for delays, interruptions, or outcomes caused by emergencies, third-party actions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond Norient’s reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norient’s liability is limited to the value of services provided under the member’s active plan.

PET SERVICES DISCLAIMER
Pet-related services provided by Norient are non-medical in nature and may include coordination, companionship, and end-of-life aftercare support. Norient does not provide veterinary care, diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice for animals. All veterinary and medical decisions remain the responsibility of the pet owner or licensed veterinary professionals. Pet services are subject to availability, provider coordination, and Service Bank balance.

PAYMENTS, FEES & BILLING
Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis using a third-party payment processor. By enrolling, members authorize Norient to charge the selected payment method in accordance with the chosen plan. Payment processing fees may reduce the net amount credited to the Service Bank. Norient’s billing policies govern refunds, cancellations, failed payments, and reinstatements in effect at the time of enrollment.

ROLLOVER, TRANSFER & REVERSION OF SERVICE BANK BALANCES
Service Bank balances may be eligible for rollover to designated family members under specific conditions outlined in the membership agreement, including age requirements and waiting periods. In the event of a member’s death, Service Bank balances may be applied toward approved expenses, transferred, or continued under a successor plan. If balances remain unclaimed beyond the stated period, they may revert to Norient as program income and are not subject to dispute once conditions are met.

GOVERNING LAW, DISPUTE RESOLUTION & VENUE
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under or related to Norient services shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined herein, which may include arbitration or mediation. Venue for any permitted legal action shall be exclusively within New York, NY, unless otherwise required by law.

MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICES & TERMS
Norient reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue services, pricing, policies, or program features at any time. Members will be notified of material changes as required by law. Continued participation in Norient after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

PRIVACY & DATA USE
Norient collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Member information is used to provide services, manage accounts, and improve program offerings. Norient does not sell personal data without consent and implements reasonable safeguards to protect member information.
