ABOUT NORIENT COMMUNITY SERVICES
Norient Community Services offers non-medical advocacy, coordination, and in-home support to individuals planning for aging. Our services are designed to offer continuity, dignity, and practical assistance for members starting as early as age 30. Norient does not provide medical or clinical care.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Norient Care & Support Specialist provides hands-on, non-medical to members in their homes and communities. This role requires versatility, professionalism, and compassion, with responsibilities ranging from administrative coordination to companion support and pet care. Specialists serve as trusted representatives of Norient, ensuring members receive reliable, respectful, and well-documented support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide non-medical, in-home support to members, including companionship and daily assistance
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and coordinating services
  • Accompany members to non-medical/medical appointments or errands when requested
  • Provide pet-related support, including pet sitting, basic care, and coordination of veterinary visits (non-medical)
  • Act as a Norient representative during approved engagements, including emergency contact support when authorized
  • Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation in Norient’s internal systems
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with members, families (when applicable), and Norient Advisors
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and Norient policies at all times
  • Participate in required training and continuing education programs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required (any discipline)
  • Experience working with children, elderly individuals, and pets
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage varied responsibilities in dynamic home environments
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Willingness to commit to mandatory on-site training once per year
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel locally as needed
  • Comfort working independently while following structured protocols

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Hybrid/Travel Required

Salary: $45,000 per year.
Benefits: PTO, Sick Leave, and flexible work hours.
